Useful Google Chrome Keyboard Shortcuts

Here are some handy keyboard shortcuts that you can use in the Google Chrome web browser.

1: Ctrl+B

This shortcut toggles between the bookmark bar on and off.

2. Drag Link to Bookmarks Bar

If you want to bookmark a link from the web page you are looking at, drag that link into the bookmark toolbar.

3. Shift+Escape

Just as your computer has a task manager, Google Chrome has it own task manager where you can monitor certain aspects of your browser such as the memory usage.

4. Ctrl+Shift+N

If you don’t want your browsing history to be recorded, this shortcut will put the browser in Incognito Mode.

5. Ctrl+K

This shortcut will allows you to perform a quick Google search by clearing and putting the focus on the address bar with a necessary question mark at the beginning.

6. Ctrl+J

This will bring up your Downloads page so you can see what items you have downloaded in your Google Chrome browser.

7. Ctrl+U

This shortcut is for those that are interested in viewing the source code of the web page you are viewing.
